Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is now nearing Rs. 117 crores at the Box Office. The movie had its third Friday run in theatres. It minted Rs. 116.75 crores net.

Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor’s film had performed best on week one. It minted Rs. 78.48 crores back then.

By week two, the movie earned Rs. 24.67 crores. Within the third week, this film collected Rs. 13 crores. This is at par with some of the biggest hits in post-COVID times. Movies like Gangubai Kathiawadi, Sooryavanshi and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. It is only below Jugjugg Jeeyo.

On third Friday, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar minted Rs. 60 lakhs. That took the total net collections of Luv Ranjan’s film to Rs. 116.75 crores.

The film is earning best in Mumbai and Delhi. It also has footfalls in East Punjab.

Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa has also released in theatres, which takes TJMM Box Office lower. However, given how Bholaa’s Box Office too has seen a drop, Ranbir-Shraddha’s movie could touch Rs. 125 crores mark soon. This is likely to come from the belts of Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon and Bangalore.

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar gave slight competition to Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone’s Pathaan. Before the film’s release, Pathaan was climbing up the ladder to become a blockbuster smoothly. With TJMM release, the viewers were divided.

Movies like Bheed, Zwigato and Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway are little to no competition for a film like Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The only film that is doing well commercially is John Wick 4 and that too has a Hollywood audience. Thus, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar might continue its run at the Box Office for a longer period of time.
