Udhayanidhi Stalin's Nenjukku Needhi hits screens; stars call it a honest remake of Article 15

Udhayanidhi's latest offering Nenjukku Needhi, which is a remake of Anubhav Sinha's neo-noir crime drama Article 15, hit screens today amid high expectations. The Tamil version stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, Aari Arujunan, Tanya Ravichandran and Shivani Rajasekhar in the lead. This is Arunraja Kamaraj's second directorial after Kanaa. The title of the Tamil version, Nenjuku Needhi, is named after the autobiography of Udhayanidhi's grandfather and the DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi. Cinematography for the film is by Dinesh Krishnan and editing is by Ruben. 

In the meantime, the film fraternity has wished the team and those who watched it have called it an honest remake of the original.
