The teaser for Janhvi Kapoor's upcoming film Ulajh has been released. She will be seen alongside Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew in the film. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, Ulajh is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 5, 2024. Before it hits the big screen, the makers dropped an intriguing teaser of the film. In Ulajh, Janhvi essays the role of Suhana, a young diplomat. She shows off her action avatar in the official glimpse of the film.

Janhvi Kapoor's Ulajh teaser is out now!

Janhvi Kapoor took to her official Instagram account and shared the teaser of Ulajh. While posting the same, the actress captioned her post, "Enter the world of lies, deceit and betrayals- Ulajh in cinemas on the 5th of July (sic)." The teaser also offers a glimpse into the world of Indian Foreign Services (IFS).

According to the official synopsis of the movie, Ulajh is the journey of a young diplomat (played by Janhvi), who belongs to a well-known family of patriots. She gets embroiled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while at a career-defining post.

For the uninitiated, Janhvi Kapoor wrapped the filming for Ulajh in September 2023. She penned a heartfelt note on the gram and shed light on her experience of working in Ulajh.

Speaking a bit about her character, the actress wrote, "And through Suhana's journey, and the journey of making this film- my biggest learning has been to allow yourself to love what you do, to identify if you’re doing it for the right reasons, to let go of baggage and external pressures and opinions. To get off a hamster wheel that leads to nowhere and let yourself walk to your own pace, as long as you believe in where you’re going (sic)."

Before Ulajh is released in cinemas, Janhvi's film Mr and Mrs Mahi will hit the big screen. The actress shares screen space with Rajkummar Rao in the movie.
