Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga, the family entertainer, directed by Arjun Varma-fame Gireesaaya is all set to hit theatres on September 2. The film is the third release in the career of Uppena star Vaisshnav Tej. Ketika Sharma plays the female lead in the same. The supporting cast comprises Tulasi, Naresh, Subbaraju, Naveen Chandra and Prabhu, to name a few. At the film's pre-release event held earlier this week, Vaisshnav spoke of his experiences working on the film.
"I troubled my director Gireesaaya with a lot of changes in the script and he in turn helped me with my acting skills. I thank my brothers - Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej- for taking time out of their busy schedules for the event. I am grateful to the entire team, cast and crew and the filmmaking was a joy ride only because of them. My journey with cinematographer Shamdat Sainudeen began with Uppena, I am very close to him and he's a good friend despite his age. He takes care of his team well," he said.
"My co-star Ketika (Sharma) made my job a lot easier during the shoot. I was full of self-doubt and inhibitions but it was her enthusiasm and chivalrous nature that helped me open up well. It helped me break the ice quickly. I share a wonderful friendship with her. I am working with Devi Prasad yet again after Uppena and I am indebted to his entire team for coming up with a fabulous music score. Avinash Kolla's production design was instrumental in lending a classy look to the film," Vaisshnav added.
Vaisshnav called his producer Bvsn Prasad a young man at heart, who was always around to help them in the hour of need. "I always keep interacting with him about his journey and it's truly inspiring to see how far he's come. I truly enjoyed listening to the script of Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga and had a hearty laugh during the narration. I genuinely believe it'll be worthy of your money. I learnt a lot from my supporting cast - seniors and on-screen friends. Please encourage us in theatres on September 2," he signed off.
