Valimai: Ajith has sheer passion for his profession, says producer Boney Kapoor

Ahead of the much awaited release of Ajith Kumar’s film Valimai, producer Boney Kapoor is all praise for the actor and director H Vinoth. Kapoor said that the star has sheer passion for his profession. 

Talking to IANS, Kapoor said, “He is an actor of modesty, who has mastered the discipline, has sheer passion for his profession, and has immense dedication. No wonder, he is a most-sought actor among the producers.”

He also added that the actor has been a great support in getting the project shaped up and ready during its pre-production stage. 

Kapoor extended big praise for H Vinoth and said that his work with Valimai is “beyond brilliance”. He called the director a perfectionist who leaves no stone unturned to achieve his vision. 

Kapoor also spoke about not opting for a direct-to-digital release for Valimai, calling it a tailor-made movie that will cater to “the pulse of the audience” and that it is made for the theatrical experience. 

Days away from its release, the expectations of the fans are at its highest. Produced by Zee Studios and Kapoor, the movie is also Ajith’s first pan-Indian project. Valimai is set to hit theaters in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada on February 24. 

The producer has also previously worked with the director-actor combo on the 2019 legal drama Nerkonda Paarvai. The official Tamil remake of the Hindi movie Pink, Nerkonda Paarvai received fairly positive reviews.
