Filmmaker Boney Kapoor revealed his interest to collaborate with the Ajith-Vinoth duo again, after the recent project Valimai. Talking to The Hindu, he opened up about his excitement of working with the Tamil superstar and the film director H Vinoth.
Boney seems to be admiring the kind of popularity Ajith has in Tamil Nadu. Recalling his theatrical experience of Ajith-starrer Viswasam, Boney said that he has never seen such a cheer for a movie before. The filmmaker also said that he had travelled to Chennai, just to get the first-hand experience of an Ajith film.
After Nerkonda Paarvai, this is the second time Boney is collaborating with Ajith and Vinoth for Valimai. The former is the remake of the Bollywood hit Pink. The production of Valimai was stagnated due to the pandemic, and the filmmaker waited for almost a year to shoot a vital bike stunt in Russia. He believes in Vinoth and says he is ready to provide him with anything and everything to fulfil his vision.
Further talking about Vinoth, the filmmaker complimented him as a 'man of vision'. He recalled an incident when Vinoth narrated some film ideas a few years ago, and how he could impress others with the storyline. He also remembered how his wife Sridevi (late actor) conversed in Tamil with Vinoth and was instantly happy with the story. Reminiscing the team’s satisfying journey, he concluded by revealing his next collaboration interest with the duo.
