Varun Dhawan's film Baby John's release has been reportedly delayed. Buzz is that two action sequences are left to be shot by the makers.

Varun Dhawan's film Baby John with director Kalees was slated to release in cinemas on May 31, 2024. However, the latest buzz is that the action-thriller has been delayed. It might see the light of the day sometime in July this year. According to a Mid-Day report, the makers of Baby John decided to postpone the film's release as two important action sequences are left to be shot. Both scenes will be shot in May.
As per the media report, Baby John's release hasn't been postponed due to the upcoming elections. However, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's Kalki 2898 AD's May 9 release has been delayed due to the Lok Sabha elections on May 13 in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
"In the case of Baby John, the makers are delaying to scale up two important stunts. It requires training and will be shot in May With Kalki being pushed, the makers want to avoid any clash. Baby John will command a solo release. June end or early July is when they will release the movie," a source told the tabloid.
The report further states that director Kalees is waiting for June to complete the colourist’s work and VFX. The movie's storyline revolves around a DCP who transforms and travels to different places to protect his family.
Besides Baby John, Varun Dhawan has a few other exciting projects lined up in the pipeline. The actor will be seen in Raj and DK's web series Citadel: Honey Bunny, wherein he essays the role of Rahi Gambhir. Varun has shared screen space with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the series, which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
Further, Varun has reunited with his Bawaal co-star Janhvi Kapoor for Shashank Khaitan's movie, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Before both these projects release, Varun's Baby John will hit the big screen.
