We’re barely two weeks away from witnessing an epic clash at the box office this Sankranthi. The major battle in Telugu cinema will be between Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Balakrishna starrer Veera Simha Reddy, releasing on January 12 and 13 respectively. Interestingly, both films are produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The production house is going all out to promote both the mass-pleasing star vehicles across all media.
An update about the fourth and final song from Veera Simha Reddy was shared by the team today. Titled Mass Mogudu, the energetic dance number featuring Balakrishna and Shruti Haasan will be out on January 3 at 7.55 pm. In an announcement poster unveiled by the makers, Balakrishna is dressed in a traditional avatar with Shruti Haasan at her stylish best in a black costume while also wearing a choker necklace. S Thaman is composing the music for the film, written and directed by Gopichand Malineni.
Duniya Vijay plays the antagonist in the action entertainer while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Naveen Chandra and Malayalam actor Lal are cast in crucial roles. Chandrika Ravi and Honey Rose are on board for their song appearances. Sai Madhav Burra writes the dialogues for the film which has cinematography by Rishi Punjabi and will be edited by Navin Nooli. Ram-Lakshman and Venkat choreograph the action sequences and AS Prakash is the production designer respectively. Ramajogayya Sastry is the sole lyricist.
Balakrishna’s next, his 108th film, will be directed by Anil Ravipudi, in which Sreeleela, Sarathkumar essay important roles. The star is also hosting the second season of his chat show Unstoppable with NBK on the OTT platform aha.
