Happy Baisakhi! Today, all Indians globally are celebrating this auspicious harvest festival. On this delightful occasion, people distribute sweets and tasty food among themselves. And Bollywood celebrities, too, celebrate the day joyously. Sharing a glimpse of the day, Vicky Kaushal shared with his fans and well-wishers today that he has opted for a ‘cheat meal’ for dinner. His close friend Akshay Arora joined him for the celebration. This development comes at a time when Kaushal is keeping busy with the shoot of Chhava.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Vicky Kaushal shared a delightful visual where he can be seen consuming pani puri – a famous Maharashtrian dish. Captioning the moment, the fitness enthusiast wrote, “Cheat meal after months! Had to be pani puri. Ro dunga main aaj. Love you, Akshay Arora.”
Some fans of the actor believe that Kaushal shared this video from the sets of Chhava. However, there is no official confirmation of this statement.
What is special about Chhava?
The upcoming film Chhava features Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, the filming of which started in October 2023. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhava is a period drama that follows the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, played by Vicky. Rashmika plays the role of Yesubai Bhonsale, Sambhaji Maharaj's wife.
The film explores Sambhaji's deep love for Yesubai, as well as his sacrifices and military tactics. While this is Laxman's first venture into the period genre, it is his second collaboration with Vicky Kaushal, following their recent release Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.
In December 2023, Vicky shared a message for his fans on Instagram which read, “Last day on set (of Chhava) for this year. Ending the year by completing the biggest action sequence of my career so far. 2023, you have been truly gratifying… Walking into 2024 hungrier than ever before!” Vicky, for those unfamiliar, is the only Indian actor who is followed back by ‘Instagram’ on Instagram.
