Vicky Kaushal is excitedly waiting for the historical epic, Chhaava, to be released on the big screen. Ahead of the film's theatrical release, a grand music launch of Chhaava took place in Mumbai. Music maestro AR Rahman left everyone impressed with his live performance and made it a magical night to remember. On February 13, Vicky shared a series of pictures and videos from the grand event. The actor also spoke about his 'core memory' from the event.

Vicky Kaushal took to his official Instagram account and posted several photos and videos from the Chhaava music launch. The actor happily posed with Rashmika Mandanna and AR Rahman. He also shared a picture of his parents enjoying the launch event. One photo highlighted Vicky touching AR Rahman's feet on stage.

In his social media caption, the actor revealed that AR Rahman giving live score on piano to his recitation of dialogues in presence of his parents was his 'core memory'.

"CHHAAVA MUSIC LAUNCH! Last night we got to witness, share and live some of that ARR magic!!! To see him perform live all songs of #Chhaava was nothing short of being in a trance. Him giving live score on a piano to my recitation of dialogues… all of it in the presence of my Parents… has to be a new core memory for me which I’ll truly cherish. Grateful to the most amazing team. Blessed to be a part of Chhaava… blessed to be Chhaava. IN CINEMAS TOMORROW!!! (sic)," wrote Vicky.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is based on the life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing the lead role while Rashmika Mandanna will play Maharani Yesubai's character. On the other hand, Akshaye Khanna will essay the character of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
