Video of Mohammad Rizwan lifting Pakistan flag with his feet goes viral, faces the heat

Pakistan, who is hosting England for a seven-match T20I series, saw the two sides tied at 2-2 after the completion of 4 games. The home side's make player Mohammad Rizwan, has been going through a purple patch and is one of the most consistent players in the current Pakistani team.

However, recently the batter has faced the heat of fans in Pakistan after he was seen touching the national flag with his feet.

Rizwan, who was signing autographs for fans was seen using his feet to pick the national flag of Pakistan. 

The video has since gone viral on the internet with many criticising him for the incident. There were some however, that sided with him saying he might have been in a hurry and did not see the flag.

Talking about the clashes, Babar Azam’s Pakistan is currently taking on Moeen Ali-led England in the fifth match. 

The English sides regular white-ball skipper Jos Buttler is likely to miss all seven matches as head coach Matthew Mott is not willing to take any risk with the injured player weeks before the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
