Viduthalai: Vetri Maaran's latest film leaked online in full HD ahead of its Telugu version's release

Vetri Maaran's Viduthalai aka Viduthalai Part 1, which hit the screens on March 31, opened to terrific reviews from critics. The filmmaker has once again proved that he is the best in Kollywood when it comes to presenting a hard-hitting subject in an undiluted manner.

Soori's never-before-seen performance as a dedicated cop, Vijay Sethupathi's portrayal as a naxalite, visuals by R Velraj and Ilaiyaraaja's music have been garnering appreciation from film buffs right after its first day first show. Zee5 has bagged the movie's digital rights; its OTT premiere is expected to happen later this month.

It was announced officially a few days ago that the project's Telugu version, titled Vidudhala, will be released in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on April 15. Vetri, Soori, actress Bhavani Sre and producer Eldred Kumar were present at the film's promotion in Hyderabad.

Leading producer Allu Aravind, who has acquired its Telugu rights, was also present at the event. He opened up about the terrific experience he had after watching the movie and said that Viduthalai made him completely emotional towards the climax portion. 

Cinephiles have been eager to know how movie lovers in Telugu states would receive the film. Unfortunately, the movie's HD print has leaked online a few hours ago. The makers have been putting their best foot forward to curb the piracy, but it looks like many people have already got access to the pirated versions.

We will have to wait and see if this would have any impact on the box office results of Vidudhala. The second part of the movie is likely to be released later this year. Its OTT version is said to be director's cut with more sequences available in it.
