Vikram teaser out on Kamal Haasan's birthday: Here's what we feel

Fans were excited when the makers teased them with posters of Kamal Haasan in the much awaited film, Vikram. Today, on the occasion of his birthday, they gave us a feel of the movie and just what the upcoming action-thriller has in store for us.

The latest teaser sees Kamal Haasan wielding a police shield that is used by policemen who try to shield themselves while in combat. The vibe of the war of guns ensued between the Ulaga Nayagan’s gang and the enemies is even more amplified with the rocking background music of Anirudh Ravichander. Chances are, we may get to see the Vishwaroopam star as a police officer in the upcoming action-thriller outing.

The shooting for the upcoming action thriller is currently going at a steady pace. The director was snapped at Sairam College, Chennai recently while he was filming the movie. The teaser music of the action thriller is a remixed version of the 1986 movie of the Kamal Haasan starrer of the same name, Vikram. However, barring the same name, the new Vikram is not a sequel of the old one.

Kamal Haasan is currently hosting the weekend episodes of Bigg Boss Tamil season 5, where we may even see him celebrate his birthday with the housemates of the show.

Vikram boasts of a versatile cast of Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, accompanied by Shivani Narayanan, Kalidas Jayaram, Narain and Arjun Das in pivotal roles.

Backed by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films, the upcoming action-thriller outing and the first movie of the two-part franchise is expected to have its theatrical release next year.
