Now that Vineeth Sreenivasan has almost completed work on his directorial Hridayam, which has Pranav Mohanlal, Darshana Rajendran and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead, the actor-director can focus on his acting commitments and the first one seems to be editor Abhinav Sunder Nayak’s directorial debut.

Vineeth had shared a quirky news snippet on his social media page, that said that he is currently in house arrest in Chennai and the man responsible for it is Abhinav. “His threat is that if Vineeth doesn’t act in his directorial debut, he would kill him,” says the news report, accompanied by photos of the two.

Vineeth also announced that the film’s poster will be revealed at 7pm on October 1, which also happens to be his birthday. “I have no other option but to accept his terms. But I am not responsible for any antics that he will make me do in the movie,” said Vineeth, in the news clip.

Abhinav had earlier worked as an editor in Aanandam, which Vineeth had produced, Tovino Thomas’ Godha and You Too Brutus, and Korangu Bommai.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, Vineeth had shared an update about Hridayam. The filmmaker had said that the audio mastering of the movie was complete along with its background score, composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The team will complete the rest of the work in the coming weeks. He also confirmed that the movie, which is a coming-of-age tale revolving around Pranav’s character Charu, will be a theatrical release. Hridayam also has Arun Kurian, Aju Varghese and Vijayaraghavan.
