Viral video: Archana Gautam beaten up on her way to congratulate Priyanka Gandhi after passing of Women’s Bill

Bigg Boss 16 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 contestant Archana Gautam was beaten up while she was on her way to meet Priyanka Gandhi after passing of Women’s Bill. Archana was with her father and he was clearly beaten up in the video which is circulating on the internet. Archana’s father tried to protect her but was dragged away and beaten up.

In a clip making rounds of the internet, Archana was manhandled outside the Congress office in New Delhi. Some people ganged up on Archana and her father. This led to him falling to his knees, barely conscious. The video has left everyone in shock.

What was Archana doing?

According to reports, Archana wanted to congratulate Priyanka Gandhi and national president Mallikarjun Kharge on the passing of Women’s Bill in Parliament. It is to be noted that Archana too was a part of the Congress party before her entry on Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 16.

Her eviction and re-entry on Bigg Boss 16 involved Priyanka Gandhi

Archana is a huge fan of Priyanka Gandhi. She has accepted that numerous times. It was one day on Bigg Boss 16 that her co-contestant Shiv Thakare tried to Archana by naming ‘Priyanka didi.’ Upset, Archana lashed out at Shiv and almost choked him. He was asked to take a decision on whether to keep Archana in the house or evict her. A day into her eviction, the decision was revoked. Shiv had actually violated the rules of the house by naming Priyanka (Gandhi). Interestingly, Archana was also close to co-contestant Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary on the show but his comment had nothing to do with the latter. Shiv discussed a political figure, which is forbidden in the house and thus, Archana was allowed to re-enter the show. Eventually, she became the third runner-up on the show while Shiv was the first runner-up. He was competing with MC Stan, who picked up the trophy and became the winner of the show. Archana and Shiv later participated in Rohit Shetty’s show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 13.
