After a long wait, movie lovers heaved a sigh of relief the previous weekend when it was announced that Virata Parvam will finally release in theatres on July 1. The film written and directed by Venu Udugula has been in the making for over three years now, delayed owing to multiple reasons and of course, the pandemic. Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi play the leads in the action drama produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas in association with Suresh Productions.

On the occassion of actress Sai Pallavi's birthday today, the makers of Virata Parvam have released a special sneakpeek into her character titled 'Soul of Vennela' today. The character promo of Vennela (played by Sai Pallavi) takes us through her formative years, the time she has spent with her father (played by Sai Chand), another character played by Easwari Rao, while also showcasing a series of images reflecting her never-say-die spirit.

Soul of Vennela ends with a frame where Sai Pallavi and Rana Daggubati (in the role of Ravanna a.k.a Aranya) embrace one another while she narrates a dialogue that loosely translates to, 'Our love has sprung in the middle of a crisis. Though you and I may or may not around always, our love story will be heard by the generations to come.' The stirring background score by Suresh Bobbili enhances the impact of the glimpse. Virata Parvam, a story based on the naxal movement in the 90s, is inspired by true incidents.

Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, Sai Chand, Benarji, Nagineedu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Devi Prasad, Anand Ravi, Anand Chakrapani and others play important roles in the film. Dani Sanchez Lopez and Divakar Mani are the cinematographers of the drama edited by Sreekar Prasad. Sri Nagendra is the production designer and Raju Sundaram is the choreographer respectively. Netflix has bagged the film's post-theatrical streaming rights. Daggubati Suresh Babu is the presenter.
