Vishal has got injured once again on the sets of Laththi. The actor, who was shooting for the climax portions of a fight sequence for the film, got injured in his leg and the night shoot was eventually called off. The actor will resume shoot after he recovers from the injury. This is not the first time that the actor had got injured on the sets of the film. During the third schedule of the film in Hyderabad, the actor had suffered multiple hairlines fractures on his hand and finger. 

The actor had then shared the deets about his injury on his social media page and had written than he was off to Kerala for a rejuvenation programme. He wrote, ""Suffered multiple hairline fractures during the filming of this stunt sequence in #Laththi. Off to #Kerala to rejuvenate myself! Will join the crew for the final schedule from March first week 2022. GB." After his session, the actor announced that he was back on the sets with a tweet. He write, "“I'm BACK! after few weeks of rejuvenation in Kerala.Thanks to Guru Kripa Ayurvedic treatment centre, Peringode. Now all set for tomorrow and ready to be back in action for the final schedule of #Laththi in Hyderabad. GB”.

It was only recently that Vishal had shared videos and picture of him working out and had captioned it, "Rise and grind. My early morning workout sessions at 5.30 a.m. Gearing up for the last fight sequence schedule of 'Laththi'."

Laththi is directed by debutant director Vinoth Kumar. While Vishal is playing a cop in the film, Sunainaa is playing the leading lady. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for the film. Balasubramaniem has cranked the camera and Pon Parthiepan has penned the dialogues. Peter Hein is in charge of the stunts. The film is said to be releasing in Telugu simultaneously and the dubbing, had begun recently.
