Vishal's Laththi teaser out; Vishal plays a menacing cop in the action entertainer

The much-awaited teaser of Vishals' Laththi is finally out. The teaser was released in a grand function held in Chennai for which the film's cast and crew were present. The film is directed by debutant director Vinoth Kumar. While Vishal is playing a cop in the film, Sunainaa is the leading lady. It is said that Vishal will be playing the father of a 8-year-old in the film. Vishal turned many heads as he cycled to the venue of the teaser launch event. In attendance were SJ Suryah, Gaurav Narayanan and director Hari. 

As the event kickstarted, a montage video of the plight of police constables and beat police was screened. It also comprised montages of popular cops. Vishal later made an entry in a cop uniform along with a laththi. The actor, later, shared the teaser on his social media page. He captioned it. "Proudly presenting the #LaththiTeaser https://youtu.be/ZBvwFf4u0TA #LaththiCharge #Laatti #LaattiTeaser #LaththiTeaser (sic)." In the teaser, we see a grievously injured Vishal challening his enemies. He is seen as an honest and upright constable who would go any lengths to get justice. Later, we see him trapped in a building on fire and challenging his attackers to get him. Going by the teaser, it looks like the film will be loaded with action. 

Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for the film. Balasubramaniem has cranked the camera and Pon Parthiepan has penned the dialogues. Peter Hein is in charge of the stunts. The film is said to be releasing in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously and the dubbing, had begun recently. The teaser of the Telugu, Kannada and Hindi versions were also released today. The film is titled Laatti in these languages. The action-packed entertainer is produced by Ramana-Nandaa. The release date is expected to be announced soon.
