Vishnu Vishal, who had two releases last year, FIR and Gatta Kusthi, has three films in his kitty. The actor has been kicked about his ongoing project Lal Salaam which has Aishwarya Rajinikanth at its helm. Superstar Rajinikanth is playing a cameo in the movie and his poster was unveiled recently.

The film has him playing the lead in it along with Vikranth. With Aishwarya's return to direction after a while and AR Rahman's music to Superstar's presence, cinephiles have multiple reasons to look forward to it.

Aaryan, which is directed by debutant Praveen K, is another outing he has pinned high hopes on. The crime thriller stars Shraddha Srinath, Vani Bhojan and Selvaraghavan in pivotal roles. It's been a while since moviegoers have had an update on the project which went on floors several months ago.

Mohandas, which has been lying in cans for a while, is a much-awaited film from the actor. Its teaser was unveiled more than a year ago and garnered good response among film buffs. However, no update from the project was revealed further. Directed by Murali Karthick, it features Aishwarya Rajesh, Indrajith, Karunakaran and Lallu among others in key roles.

It is now heard that the makers have decided to skip theatrical release for the film. Though an official announcement pertaining to the same is awaited, a trusted source has said that the thriller flick will drop on Jio Cinema. Interestingly, this will be the first Tamil film to have a direct release on the platform.

Vishnu plays a psychopath in Mohandas which has action choreography helmed by Anbariv and music composed by Sundaramurthy. Vignesh Rajagopalan and Kripakaran have handled cinematography and editing respectively.
