War 2 new poster: Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, Kiara Advani show no mercy in action mode

A new poster starring the film's lead cast—Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr., and Kiara Advani—has been unveiled by Yash Raj Films (YRF) to increase anticipation for the highly anticipated action flick War 2, which has just 30 days to go until its release. Filmgoers may look forward to the YRF Spy Universe's newest entry, the sequel to 2019's smash hit War, in theatres on August 14, 2025.

Action-packed visuals and high-stakes tease

With fresh partnerships, high-stakes missions, and conflicts in store, the film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is set to propel the spy franchise forward. The recently unveiled image features the three main characters in a combative pose: NTR Jr. with a clenched fist and intense expression, Hrithik Roshan with a sword, and Kiara Advani, who plays a crucial role in the plot, aiming a gun. Jet skis, battles, and explosions suggest massive cinematic moments against a backdrop of high-octane action.

Inside the YRF Spy Universe, War 2 signifies a significant crossover. Although Hrithik reprises his role as Kabir, the accomplished intelligence agent from the last film, the identity of NTR Jr. remains a mystery, leading fans to wonder if he portrays an ally, an enemy, or someone in between. Many people, particularly those who enjoy Telugu cinema, are excited about NTR Jr.'s debut in the franchise.
