Was Akshay Kumar ever brozoned? Actor responds

Akshay Kumar is going to appear in a movie about brotherhood soon. He plays the lead role in Aanand L. Rai’s upcoming film, Raksha Bandhan. While promoting the movie, he also spoke about being brozoned by someone.

“Mauka hi nahi diya unko,” Akshay told the media at Tere Saath Hoon Main song launch. It is to be noted that the actor is recognized as one of the most charming heroes in Bollywood.

However, some time into the launch, one of Akshay’s on-screen sisters revealed an incident in which he sub-consciously played a brother. When one of the debutante actresses fell down, Akshay showed concern for her, just like a real brother would.

The actor was heard talking to a journalist about the changing roles in films. He said that while the four debutante actresses play Akshay’s sister in Raksha Bandhan, they could also end up playing his lovers or another role in a new movie. “It is just a film,” he stressed.

Raksha Bandhan also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. She plays Akshay’s on-screen lover in the film.

The movie is the story of a brother (played by Akshay) who is torn between finding his love and keeping his sisters safe and happy. Raksha Bandhan explores that aspect.

The Akshay Kumar-Bhumi Pednekar starring film will release in theatres on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan (Rakhi). Co-incidentally, it would be clashing with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. The latter is the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump.

Raksha Bandhan marks Akshay’s second collaboration with Aanand L. Rai. The actor had an extended appearance in Aanand L. Rai’s last film, Atrangi Re. The movie starred Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in the lead roles too.
