Was Sidharth Shukla about to replace Vikas Gupta as Ace of Space 3 host?

Sidharth Shukla's death has definitely left a void in the hearts of the people. The actor was at his peak when he breathed his last due to cardiac arrest. After starring in Broken But Beautiful season three, there were several reports about Sidharth's upcoming projects. Just a day before his untimely demise it was reported that the actor was set to replace Vikas Gupta as the host of Ace of Space season three.

During an interaction with Spotboye, the producer was quizzed about returning to the show, to which he had said, "I was approached for the third season but I am not able to do the show as I am busy with my debut feature."

On being quizzed if he read the reports of Sidharth replacing him in Ace of Space, Vikas told the entertainment portal, "If Sidharth has signed it yet or not, I am not aware of it. But it will be a treat to see Sidharth handling the house guests. Wishing the channel all the best with the third season."

It's heartbreaking to know that even if the report was true, fans won't get to see the actor back as a host.

In his 13-year-long career, Sidharth has ruled the television screens in different avatars. Starting as an actor, he went on to win hearts as a contestant on reality shows namely Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Bigg Boss 13. Sidharth has also hosted a few shows like Savdhaan India, India's Got Talent among others. 

Soon after lifting the Bigg Boss 13 trophy, he became much in demand and had a very year. From featuring in several music videos, appearing as a guest contestant on Bigg Boss 14 to make his OTT debut with Broken But Beautiful season 3, Sidharth won hearts and how!
