Watch Gehraiyaan star Siddhant Chaturvedi thank his landlady, ex-partner and even pet cat in this heartfelt video

Siddhant Chaturvedi has started coming into his own as an actor lately. The star has recently made a splash with his formidable performance in Shakun Batra’s Gehraiyaan, which also featured Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Dhairya Karwa, Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapoor. Chaturvedi recently took to social media to express his gratitude towards the people who helped him be where he is today, through a heartfelt video.

The video, which can be viewed on the actor’s official Instagram handle, sees the actor staring into a mirror as he goes on to give a ‘thank you’ speech. The video features a host of people, Chaturvedi considers an important part of his life, including his landlady and his ex-partner. Even his pet cat makes an appearance. The actor goes to thank each and every one of them, including his parents and friends, in the caption, thanking them for their ‘love’. The video also features snippets of some of the actor’s old audition tapes.

The actor had also recently posted a reel to express his gratitude towards fans and friends. In the post, he had referred to them as his ‘gang’ or ‘jhund’.

After making his film debut in 2019 with Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy, Chaturvedi essayed a pivotal role in last year’s Bunty Aur Babli 2, with Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji and Sharvari Wagh. The actor, who also appeared on the web series, Inside Edge, is currently working on the projects, Yudhra, Phone Bhoot and Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan. In the latter, he will be sharing the screen with his Gehraiyaan co-star, Ananya Panday again.
