Netflix has been pulling out all stops to promote their upcoming release Minnal Murali, which has Tovino Thomas in the lead. While the promo videos featuring The Great Khali and Yuvraj Singh made for great fun and showcased the facets of Minnal Murali the character, the latest video showed the side of Tovino the person and how much his efforts – on screen and off it – have influenced his fans.

The video had a few fans talking about their adoration for the actor and why they are eagerly awaiting the release of Minnal Murali. A particular fan mentions Tovino as a ‘real-life superhero’ and also hailed his efforts during the floods in Kerala a few years ago, when the actor had braved surging waters to help out those who were stranded in various regions near his hometown.

Another fan talked about his greatest wish to act with the Kala and Kaanekkaane star. Tovino, who was backstage, listening to their comments then proceeded to surprise each of them in an emotional video that also showcased his various sides – from a struggling actor to a top star, from influencing people through his actions – be it travel, his friendships or his love for animals.
