Popular Korean stars Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol’s dating rumours and their current relationship status have been the talk of the town ever since they were spotted together on a foreign trip. In a recent development, the stars have announced a mutual breakup. Both the Hallyu stars ended their relationship and addressed their fans via representatives to announce the split nearly two weeks after confirming their relationship.

Korean actors Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol have officially split up. The recent announcement comes almost two weeks after their relationship became public. Despite the short time since the news became official, both stars spiraled into controversies, including for a love triangle with Jun-yeol's ex-girlfriend Hyeri.
The Reply 1988 actor’s representatives have confirmed the breakup, while asking fans to understand and respect their privacies. “We ask for your understanding as we have nothing else to say except to confirm the breakup.”
Han So-hee and Hyeri had earlier engaged in a bitter social media banter after Hyeri’s cryptic Instagram story, followed by Han So-hee's dig. Although the My Name actress quickly deleted her post, it went viral. She later apologised for her remarks.

Han So Hee, Ryu Jun-yeol, and Hyeri’s love triangle
Han So Hee and Ryu Jun-yeol's viral pictures sparked dating rumours after they were spotted together in Hawaii. The lovebirds later confirmed their relationship in March. However, controversies soon erupted, citing ‘transfer love,’ a term that reflects on a new relationship before ending the previous one.
When Ryu Jun-yeol's former girlfriend Hyeri shared a cryptic Instagram story, “Funny,” which was in time with Han So-hee and Jun-yeol's sighting, netizens speculated that it was in response to their relationship. Later, Han So-hee also took a sly dig by sharing a post that stated she met Jun-yeol in November 2023 and only began seeing him after his previous relationship ended.
“What I don’t understand is that I want to ask [Hyeri] what was so funny about the fact that her ex got a new girlfriend,” her post read. Soon, it went viral and received backlash, followed by So-hee's apology.
