When a woman finds out that her husband was innocent of the crime for which he was murdered, her life is turned upside down, and she begins a silent war against a cynical system for the sake of herself and her daughter.

Cow - February 11

Creating a diary of the day-to-day activities of a dairy cow to bring humans closer to them, I'm hoping to observe both their beauty and the difficulties they face in their lives. I'm hoping to have a better understanding of one dairy cow's situation and to thank her for her excellent service.

For Lucio - February 15

Lucio Dalla's poetic and irreverent imagery is explored visually and sonically in this film. Thru the words of his devoted manager, Tobia, and his childhood buddy, Stefano Bonaga, this documentary exposes an unknown story of Dalla's life. As depicted by the recovered footage, both public and private, official and amateur, the film combines biography and history, fact and imagination. Lyrics and music depict an underground and nuanced Italy, providing a free account of the country's history thru terrible events and economic development. This is Dalla's Italy, the Italy of the outcasts and marginalized.

Taste - February 16

Since breaking his leg, Bassley, a Nigerian player residing in Vietnam, has been unable to find work. He and four middle-aged women for whom he occasionally works plan to flee their mundane existence. They go to an ancient house and create a unique universe for themselves there. This close nirvana, however, can not exist indefinitely.

Human Factors - February 17

Ronny Trocker directed and wrote Human Factors, a German-Italian-Danish co-production drama film. Mark Waschke, Hassan Akkouch, Marthe Schneider, and Spencer Bogaert star in the film. A middle-class family's sorrow is revealed through strange housebreaking.

Petite Maman - February 18

Nelly, an eight-year-old girl, recently lost her grandma and is assisting her parents in cleaning out her mother's childhood house. One day, Nelly encounters a girl her age who is building a tree house in the woods one day after her mother abruptly leaves.

Moon, 66 Questions - February 19

Artemis returns to Athens after a long absence due to her father's failing health. Artemis' discovery of her father's secret allows her to finally understand and appreciate her father in a manner she never could before.

The Child of Another - February 23

Ngando and Ndomé are head over heels in love. Ngando wants to marry Ndomé, but his family reminds him that he must pay the conventional dowry.

Lamb - February 25

A childless couple in rural Iceland discover a bizarre and unusual infant in their sheep barn. They decide to raise her as their own, but evil forces are desperate to return her to the woods where she was born.
