Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani-Tabu’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been breaking all records, even in the fifth week of its release. It has been declared as a blockbuster, considering the movie’s Box Office run so far. Currently, the movie has managed to beat the fifth weekend collections of The Kashmir Files as well as RRR.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 minted Rs. 5.68 crores on its fifth weekend, which is still more than the two highest-grossing films of 2022. The Kashmir Files had earned Rs. 2.50 crores while RRR collected Rs. 3.32 crores on its fifth weekend.
After earning Rs. 5.68 crores on its fifth weekend, the nett Box Office collections for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 currently stand at Rs. 181.82 crores. The film has come closer to beating Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi Box Office collection (Rs. 195.51 crores). The movie was declared the highest grossing post-pandemic film for the longest time, till The Kashmir Files happened to Bollywood.
Currently, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s biggest milestone would be crossing Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files Box Office collection. That movie had earned Rs. 2.46 crores nett, according to a report on Box Office India.
Seeing the current trend of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and how the numbers have dropped to approximately Rs. 2 crores per day, the film might have to struggle to reach the mark attained by The Kashmir Files. However, if it does not face any competition whatsoever, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 might have a golden run at the Box Office and end up becoming the highest grossing Hindi film.
The highest grossing film in Hindi language are currently the pan-Indian films KGF: Chapter 2 and RRR respectively. While Yash’s movie had minted Rs. 4.27 crores nett to become the highest grossing film in Hindi so far, RRR beat The Kashmir Files by a margin and earned Rs. 2.75 crores nett (approximately) at the Box Office.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the sequel to Akshay Kumar-Vidya Balan’s film from 2006. The movie was also helmed by Anees Bazmee.
