Ram Charan is a busy man these days. The star, who was on board as the brand ambassador for Disney+ Hotstar, has now also finalised his 16th film (RC16) that'll commence once he finishes filming for director Shankar's project. All eyes are on #RC16. Reportedly, an official announcement regarding the same is expected tomorrow.

If reports are to be believed, Ram Charan is all set to unite with Jersey, Malli Raava filmmaker Gowtam Thinnanuri his 16th film. Reputed banner UV Creations is likely to bankroll the film. Many rumours regarding the director's next Telugu film were doing the rounds right after the release of Jersey in 2019, though the former was completely occupied with the Hindi remake of the sports drama that features Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. Other details about the Ram Charan-Gowtam Tinnanuri project are also expected to be out soon.

The production house is currently busy finalising the cast, crew and budget for the highly anticipated project. Ram Charan will also be seen in an extended special appearance in Acharya, starring his father, actor Chiranjeevi, Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The film directed by Koratala Siva will hit theatres on February 4, 2022. Meanwhile, the Hindi remake of Jersey confirmed its theatrical release for December 31. Dil Raju and Allu Aravind are producing the film.
