Music composer Arjun Janya has had an eventful 2022 so far with multiple successful soundtracks such as Ek Love Ya, Gaalipata 2, and Love 360. However, the highlight of the year would be that he is making strides into a new territory and turning director for the very first time in his long career.

Titled 45, Arjun Janya's debut will feature the Century Star Shiva Rajkumar playing the lead role and although not much is revealed about the subject matter of the film, the title has piqued the public's interest. And now, to make things all the more special, we now learn that Real Star Upendra will be part of this exciting project.

Yes, as per the latest reports, Upendra and Shiva Rajkumar will be back together on the big screen after a long time for Arjun Janya's 45 and this would be an offer that fans could not just pass up! Upendra and Shiva Rajkumar, as many would already know, have collaborated previously on the iconic and cult classic Om which the former directed (and wrote) and the latter starred in. Later on, the duo would appear together in the 2000 film Preethse and the upcoming Arjun Janya film would unite them after a gap of 23 years.

As far as 45 is concerned, Arjun Janya has shared in the past that he approached Shivanna with a story he had written and although he had never intended on directing it, the veteran actor would coax him into doing so. The first look poster of 45 was unveiled earlier this year on July 12 on the special occasion of Shiva Rajkumar's 60th birthday.

Shiva Rajkumar is currently one of the busiest actors working in Kannada cinema today with projects of varied kinds in his kitty. He is currently shooting for Yogaraj Bhat's untitled project alongside Prabhudeva which is being produced by Rockline Venkatesh: Priya Anand and Nishvika star in the film as the female leads. Shivanna will also be seen in A. Harsha's Vedha, M.G. Srinivas' Ghost, and other films.

Upendra, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of the magnum opus Kabzaa. Directed by R. Chandru, Kabzaa also stars Shriya Saran, Kiccha Sudeep, and many other talented actors with Ravi Basrur of KGF 2 fame scoring the music.
