Wishes pour in for the newly married couple, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan

The much-awaited wedding of Lady Superstar Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan happened today at a private resort in Mahabalipuram, Chennai. The event was attended by a few close friends and family. The young couple sought the blessings of Superstar Rajinikanth, who had attended the event. The other celebrities at the wedding include Shah Rukh Khan, Mani Ratnam, KS Ravikumar, Vijay, Ajith, Shalini, Suriya, Karthi, KS Ravikumar, Hari, Sarathkumar and Radikaa, Jayam Ravi to name a few. 

Vignesh Shivan shared the first picture of the couple after their wedding. He wrote, On a scale of 10…She’s Nayan & am the One ☝️☺️😍🥰 With God’s grace , the universe , all the blessings of our parents & best of friends Jus married #Nayanthara ☺️😍🥰 #WikkiNayan #wikkinayanwedding (sic)."

In the meantime, many celebrities took to their social media page to wish the couple as they begin the new leg of their journey. 

TV anchor Divyadarshini wished the couple a lifetime of togetherness.
