When Rocking Star Yash or his upcoming film Toxic trends on social media, more often than not it is for reasons totally unrelated to the movie. This time around, the KGF star was trending because of picture that went viral. Yash, his wife Radhika Pandit and her father were caught outside a neighbourhood mom-and-pop store during their trip to Bhatkal for a temple visit, where he bought her an ice candy that she enjoyed there.

The fact that the couple ventured out themselves instead of sending a member of their staff has fans going gaga over their simplicity. No matter the star status Yash enjoys, he remains grounded and is not one to forget his roots, which is what makes him a fan favourite. “His hair and dressing style may have changed, but not his personality,” exclaimed fans.

Yash and Radhika met during their days as television actors and, for the longest time, claimed to only be ‘good friends’, even though he was often spotted with the actress and her family on their trips to Goa. They eventually made their relationship public and got married shortly after their last film together, Santhu Straight Forward, hit theatres in 2016. The couple has two children, Ayra and Yatharv.

Yash, who was last seen in 2022’s mega hit KGF: Chapter 2, will soon start working on Toxic, a film rumoured to be about Goa’s drug mafia that will be directed by Moothon maker Geethu Mohandas. It is rumoured that Shruti Haasan and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be a part of the film, but the team is yet to officially confirm this. A title announcement for the film produced by KVN Productions has booked April 10, 2025 as the release date of Toxic.

Meanwhile, Radhika was last seen onscreen in Aadi Lakshmi Purana, which released after she’d welcomed their first born Ayra and was pregnant with Yatharv. Fans have been urging the actress to return to the big screen and while she is seen occasionally with Yash, endorsing brands, like a cooking oil, for instance, she is yet to make a formal comeback.
