Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is one of the most awaited movies of 2023. Filmmaker Prashanth Neel, coming fresh off the success of KGF: Chapter 2, has created a lot of anticipation with Salaar as it stars Telugu superstar Prabhas in the lead role. The filmmakers have done a solid job safeguarding crucial details about the film, including its plot, cinematic connections, and the possibility of star cameos.
However, a young singer might have just revealed Salaar's best-kept secret. Child singer Theertha Subhash claimed that Salaar also stars Kannada superstar Yash. She was talking to the media after winning a singing competition in Kerala. When she was asked about her playback singing career, she casually mentioned, "I had the opportunity to sing in three languages in a movie named Salaar starring Prabhas uncle, Yash uncle and Prithviraj uncle named Salaar."
Theertha's adorable revelation is clearly not aware of the significance of this claim and the unprecedented fan frenzy surrounding the film. Her claim is not also beyond the realm of possibilities considering superstar cameos have become a sure-shot trend in big-budget movies to draw audiences to theatres.
On the other hand, Yash also kept his fans guessing for a long time about his next project. He recently broke the suspense by announcing his next film recently. The film has been titled Toxic and it will be helembed by Geetu Mohandas.
In the meantime, Salaar is getting ready for a huge release worldwide on December 22. The film also stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju.
Based on the trailer, Salaar revolves around the relationship dynamics of two childhood friends. The film will be released in two parts and the filmmakers are yet to announce the release date for the second part.
