Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein song: Disha Patani grooves to hit track from Netflix series

On the heels of Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein's release on Netflix, Disha Patani is here with an exciting challenge, which she puts forward to fans in the most delightful of ways. Collaborating with Netflix India, the star took to Instagram to unveil a reel of herself grooving to the beats of the song that shares the name of the series.

The short reel shows Disha busting out her moves to the remix version of Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein. The Bollywood song was originally featured in the 1993 film Baazigar, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The Netflix series of the same name featured a remix of this iconic Bollywood track, which features in Disha’s reel. In the caption of the post, a challenge is laid before audiences, asking them to post their dance reels to the song.

In a press release, Disha talked about how excited she was about launching the challenge. She also opened up about her love for 90s thrillers, which inspired the story of the series, talking about how she enjoyed the elements of drama and action that figure in them.

Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein premiered on Netflix on January 14, 2022. The series revolves around the story of a man named Vikrant who is in a relationship with his college sweetheart, Shikha. Their love story gets derailed when another woman, Purva, becomes obsessed with Vikrant, determined to make him her own.

The series stars Shweta Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and Anchal Singh in lead roles as Shikha, Vikrant, and Purva, respectively. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein also features Arunoday Singh, Brijendra Kala, Anant Joshi, Sunita Rajwar, and Hetal Gada. The series is directed by Sidharth Sengupta.
