ZEE5 announces more than 80 titles across languages as part of its 2022 slate; take a look here

ZEE5 announces more than 80 titles across languages as part of its 2022 slate; take a look here

ZEE5, which is a popular streaming platform in the country, has now released their slate of over 80 shows and movies for 2022. 

With over 80 titles across languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi and Bengali, the list has 40+ original shows and 40+ movies across genres. In an effort to establish their growth in the country, ZEE5 has also announced their collaborations with BBC Studios, Applause Entertainment, The Viral Fever (TVF) as well as with filmmakers such as Vetrimaaran, Prakash Raj, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagraj Manjule amongst others.

TAJ – an epic tale of succession, Forensic, Duranga – a romantic thriller, latest seasons of shows such as Abhay 3, Pitchers 2, Sunflower 2, Tripling 3, Never Kiss Your Best Friend 2 and Rangbaaz 3 are among the upcoming titles as announced by the streaming platform. 

Movies which have already had its theatrical run in the country such as The Kashmir Files, Amitabh Bachchan’s Jhund and John Abraham’s Attack, are among some of the movies that will also start streaming on the platform. 

In an attempt to improve on their popularity, the streamers have also announced their slate of content from languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi and Bengali. 

While the Tamil slate includes Valimai, Nilamellam Ratham, Anantham, Paper Rocket, Five-Six-Seven-Eight, Gaalivaana, Kinnerasaani, Recce 2, ATM Prema Vinam are the Telugu content coming to ZEE5. 

Yaar Anmulle Returns, Fuffad Ji, and Main Viyah Nahi Karona Tere Naal are the Punjabi content coming to the platform this year with Shikarpur and Raktakarabi featuring Raima Sen and Vikram Chatterjee being the Bengali titles.
