ZEE5's Telugu web show ATM backed by Dil Raju and Harish Shankar takes off

Leading Telugu film producer Dil Raju, who has bankrolled over 50 Telugu films, is turning a new leaf and will be foraying into the digital space. He'll be reuniting with his Subramanyam For Sale, Duvvada Jagannadham director Harish Shankar for the same. The producer and director are joining forces for a Telugu web show titled ATM, that will stream on leading OTT platform ZEE5. The show was formally launched today with a brief pooja ceremony in the presence of Dil Raju and Harish Shankar.

Harshith Reddy and Hanshitha Reddy will be bankrolling this series under Dil Raju Productions. Harish Shankar has written the story for the show that will be directed by C Chandra Mohan. The lead cast for the show has been finalised as well - interestingly both being former Bigg Boss Telugu contestants. While Bigg Boss Telugu season 5 winner VJ Sunny plays the male lead in ATM, his Bigg Boss counterpart Divi Vadthya has also been roped in for a key role. Several big names are expected to join the cast shortly.

Vellipomake, Sehari, Antariksham fame composer Prashanth Vihari is on board as the music director while cinematographer PG Vinda will crank the camera. A casting call was announced for the show a few months ago and the makers claim they received a thunderous response for the same. The regular shoot of ATM will commence on April 27. More details about the project will be revealed soon, the team adds. 

Dil Raju's other banner Sri Venkateswara Creations also commenced work on two films in the recent past - Thalapathy66 with Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna and Selfish starring Ashish. ZEE5 hogged the limelight previously for their show Gaalivaana, the Telugu adaptation of BBC's One of Us. They are also coming up with another show directed by Lakshmi Sowjanya, that will mark Sushanth's OTT debut.
