ZeeStudios posts a special note on Deva Katta and Sai Tej’s Republic becoming a ‘public’ blockbuster

Helmed by Deva Katta, Telugu political thriller Republic that went on floors on October 1 has been raking the moolahs at the box office while also garnering positive reviews for the well-made story with its political consciousness at the right place. Basking in joy at the positive response to the film, ZeeStudios dropped a note on the Twitter handle of AndhraPradeshBoxOffice.com, thanking the audience for showering their love on the film. The post also included the official announcement of a huge success party for its golden run at the box office.

The post began on the note of igniting ‘thought, respect, solidarity and hope’ among the viewers, which is an uncommon feat for a film. And the banner expressed its pride to be associated with the film, while also lauding Dev Katta’s and Sai Tej’s ‘resilience to keep powering against all odds.’

Going on to thank the cast and crew along with the distributors, partners and the audience for churning a blockbuster out of the film, the post also mentioned how Sai Tej’s absence in the release of the film would be now made up with the well-deserved success party.

Republic stars Sai Dharam Tej, Aishwarya Rajesh, Ramya Krishna, and Jagapathi Babu as the lead cast. J Bhagavan and Pulla Rao have bankrolled the film while Mani Sharma has done the music. M Sukumar has cranked the camera and KL Praveen has done the editing.

The plot of the political thriller follows Panja Abhiram who is appointed as the district collector. He dreams of an egalitarian society and adherence to the constitution and its precepts. While also having faith in the judiciary, Abhiram encounters a maneuvering politician Visakha Vani who delights in powers to bend things as she wants them to be. 

The story goes on from the point as to how Abhiram gathers public support and motivates them to rally together for their right to justice.
