Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 3 review: The exciting duel with Darth Vader is here and it is UNMISSABLE

Story:

Obi-Wan Kenobi comes to know that Anakin Skywalker is alive and is now Darth Vader from the dark side. While he protects Leia and tries to get her back home, Vader comes back in search of revenge. He wants Obi-Wan to suffer. Will he succeed? What will happen to Leia?

Review:

As the third episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi begins, we see the fall of the Jedi and the rise of Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader. The scenes running in parallel is quite the deal, one you don’t want to miss out on. This sets the pace for what is to come – an exciting duel between the two.

Obi-Wan's bond with Leia is still beautiful. With them around, you are constantly at the edge-of-your-seat. There are times when Obi-Wan and Leia come face-to-face with someone who is with the dark side. This brings in the much-needed excitement in the series.

Obi-Wan finally gets into real action and every minute of it, along with the waiting time, is worth it. Now that he goes by the name of Ben and has almost given up on being a Jedi, the real Obi-Wan Kenobi, the man who fought the Darth Vader, is scarcely seen, till the last scene. Of course, Evan McGregor brings the character of Obi-Wan Kenobi alive with every scene in this episode.

We get to meet Ned-B, who is graceful. He isn't R2P2 or C3PO but Ned-B is still as cool as them and even Leia's Lola.

Obi-Wan's first meeting with the evil Darth Vader is also something that will capture your attention. The scene is executed well. 'Lord Vader' ends up proving he has turned the devil, all of it while he is still unsure whether he can meet Obi-Wan.

Tala is someone you will fall in love with instantly. She is fearless and not someone you would expect, given the way she is.

The exciting duel is here! Darth Vader is here to take his revenge on Obi-Wan for 'making him' the way he is. Just when you start believing Vader that Obi-Wan has become weak, you see the Jedi take back control. It is quite the sight! However, given how powerful Darth Vader is, whether Obi-Wan stands a chance against him is something you will have to witness for yourself.

One thing is for certain - the visuals of this episode are on point. It is always a delight to see the Jedi and Sith fight with their lightsabers and that happens again. Not just that, there is much more to look forward to with this episode.

Exciting times lie ahead since the future for Leia as well as Obi-Wan hangs by a thread. Will they succeed against the Sith and how? That is something the coming episodes would deal with.

Verdict:

Obi-Wan Kenobi has finally turned exciting. Obi-Wan fights Darth Vader again and little Leia is simultaneously fighting for her life, while trying to protect the Jedi. Will these two make it out? You will be asking yourself these questions and so, you already know that the third episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi is worth watching right away! From visuals to action to the feeling of being in the world of Star Wars, everything about this episode is intriguing.
