Story:

After realising their goal, a group of friends who go by the name of "Pitchers" eventually succeed in founding their very own start-up. Pragati AI, the start-up, has attracted a lot of attention, but Jitu's absence and the fact that the other three are now in charge have strained their bond. When we first see them, seven years later, they are going through a crisis and getting ready to take on a brand-new task.

Review:

Pragati AI, the 'baby' of Naveen (Naveen Kasturia), Yogi (Arunabh Kumar), Jitu (Jitendra Kumar), and Mandal (Abhay Mahajan), has been able to attract investors. The market and fate have other ideas, despite the viewers' expectations that their years of hustle will finally result in success. The second season of TVF Pitchers is mostly driven by competition and conflict.

The challenge itself is impressively presented in the second season. The friends' startup was a success, but life doesn't automatically get better after that. Many issues arise as they try to keep their firm running. Whether it's beer or whisky, the container they want to keep flowing is still a task. The hour-long episodes will keep you interested as they hardly succeed most of the time in pitching their businesses.

It's a pleasure to watch the cinematography of Vaibhav Bundhoo. Everything seems in place, from the slow-motion shots' precise arrangement to the straightforward camera frames. The simplicity of Amit Golani's direction is exactly what the screenplay calls for.

You'll be torn about whether to appreciate Naveen Kasturia's character in this season. Even here, as the first season demonstrates, Naveen takes on the driving seat, but there are many times when you'll feel like he's forgetting that there are also two more individuals who are actually running alongside him rather than behind him. Although Kasturia's stirring performance will once more astound you. I almost failed to remember that he is an actor and not a real entrepreneur.

As naive as they made Abhay Mahajan appear in the first season, he is the complete opposite in this episode. He clearly understands the most difficult element and excels at it since he does everything he can to keep the friends together, the business going, and the staff working happily.

Arunabh Kumar, who plays Yogi, performs effortlessly. Despite having the least acting experience compared to the others, he would never give you that impression of himself or his role. He most certainly puts up a convincing performance.

Ridhi Dogra, a recent addition to the cast, does an excellent job in her role. She had a great effect every time she appeared on screen, despite having a too-short screen time. With their consistently strong performances, Sikander Kher and Abhishek Banerjee steal the show.

Verdict:

Pitchers 2 is an entertaining show to watch, but this time the humour has taken a back seat. The show might have had a little more effect if Jitendra Kumar had made at least a brief cameo. Overall, if you are proficient in business slang, it will be a terrific watch.
