American Horror Story, created by Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy, follows an anthology series featuring a variety of characters and settings, such as a house with a homicidal past, a mental institution, a witch coven, a circus freak, a cursed hotel, a haunted farmhouse, a cult, the end of the world, murderous summer camp, a desolate coastal town and desert canyon, and New York City.
