Peacemaker

Created by James Gunn for HBO Max, the series is based on the anti-hero, Peacemaker, who aims to achieve peace at any cost. As the Peacemaker, who is also known as Christopher Smith, recovers from the injuries he suffered after his encounter with Bloodsport during the events of The Suicide Squad (2021), he is forced to join the enigmatic A.R.G.U.S. black ops squad ‘Project Butterfly’. With Matt Miller, Peter Safran and Gunn serving as executive producers, the series centres around how the squad is on a mission to identify and eliminate parasitic butterfly-like creatures who have taken over human bodies all over the world. The cast includes Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Chukwudi Iwuji, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee and Robert Patrick, among others.
