Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have come with a mission of breaking and making records in the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. First, they broke the 263-run record against Mumbai Indians (MI) by scoring 277, and now they have broken their record by posting a mammoth 287 runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). 

With this new highest team total posted by SRH at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Match 30, the team management, players, and fans are already celebrating, knowing RCB's performance and expecting a victory. In fact, another record was also shattered with 22 sixes struck in a single innings.

For SRH, every batter contributed, with Travis Head leading the pack and scoring 102 runs. Abhishek Sharma (34) also played well before Heinrich Klaasen (67) made things worse for RCB. Aiden Markram (32) and Abdul Samad (37) remained not out, adding salt to RCB's poor form.

For the home team, Lockie Ferguson took two wickets while Reece Topley picked up the other. However, all the bowlers were hit for maximums, with the latter leaking 68 runs.

Earlier, RCB won the toss and opted to field. They made a few changes to their squad by resting Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj and bringing in Lockie Ferguson. As for SRH, they have gone with the same team, which has helped them win crucial games.
