It will indeed take a while for any other movie in the superhero realm to manage to create a buzz as massive as Spider-Man: No Way Home and then even translate it into box office success, creating a dent not just in the domestic market but globally. No Way Home created history not just for the Marvel Cinematic Universe but for cinema in general, as it had the makers of Avatar stressed because it challenged the box office collection of the James Cameron starrer, which had been at the top worldwide for over a decade when No Way Home was released. The Tom Holland starrer quickly became a cultural phenomenon, and the world was back to being obsessed with Peter Parker.

A big reason was also that this time around, they got three for the cost of one. Spider-Man: No Way Home was not just the third film in Tom Holland’s trilogy and an entry to the multiverse but was also the film where Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were set to return as Peter Parker and make their MCU debut. The film was scattered with cameos at every twist and turn, which was rewarding for fans who were supremely excited throughout the runtime. Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield Return

Okay, there can never again be a moment in the Spider-Man universe where we scream louder than we did for this one. We all knew that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were returning, but the moment it happened and how casually it happened took us all by surprise, and we couldn't control our happiness. The movie marked the live-action version of the popular three Spider-Man memes, and their entrance into the movie, while MJ tries to bring in her Peter Parker, is insane and so well conceptualized.

Andrew Garfield’s Redemption

After screams, let's look at the love in No Way Home. We all remember when Gwen Stacy couldn't survive the fall in the Amazing Spider-Man universe—a tragic moment. The fact that Andrew Garfield’s Peter couldn't save her left him consumed by guilt for a long time. Spider-Man: No Way Home's writers made sure he finds his redemption, and in the scheme of the Multiverse Saga, Garfield’s Peter is anything but guilty about Gwen’s death. When Zendaya’s MJ is thrown from a height in a crucial scene, it is Garfield who saves her and finds his ray of hope.

Aunt May’s Death

Talking of redemption, there is more guilt in this world. We all know how much Peter Parker loves Aunt May and how she is possibly the sweetest character in the Spidey Universe. But when the makers of Spider-Man: No Way Home decided that they would kill her at the hands of the Green Goblin, they were indeed on a very evil track. The scene broke our hearts, and we still hope there is some way we can bring her back.

Daredevil Is Here

A brick is thrown towards Peter Parker, but there is suddenly a man dressed in a familiar black suit who catches it. He is blind, and an attorney. None of us were even remotely prepared for this moment that brought Matt Murdock back to the screen and marked his MCU debut. In a small cameo, he played Peter Parker’s lawyer, and it was confirmed that Charlie Cox had entered the MCU.

Venom was Introduced To the Avengers

The Sony-Marvel crossovers were elevated a notch higher when Tom Hardy appeared at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home as Venom. It was in this scene where he learned about the Avengers and what they are doing. But before he can react, he is sent back to his timeline. However, some of his goo is left behind, seeking a host and hinting at a potential future. Besides, even Tom Holland had made a cameo in the last Venom film. So, the chances are high.
