Joining the acclaimed panel from last season, six new judges will be a part of Shark Tank India for its third season, which is due to premiere on January 22. Aspiring entrepreneurs looking for investors have made the show popular for its business reality format. Much anticipation has been building for the next season, which will feature twelve judges, or Sharks, all of whom are well-known figures in their fields. The Sharks' panel now includes Ritesh Agarwal, Radhika Gupta, Azhar Iqubal, Deepinder Goyal, Varun Dua, and Ronnie Screwvala. Meanwhile, the OG judges are back: Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, and Amit Jain, who joined the show last season.

Ritesh Agarwal, founder and CEO of OYO Rooms

Among the biggest hospitality and travel start-ups, OYO Rooms was founded and is now led by computer prodigy Ritesh Agarwal, who revolutionised the small hotel and home industry globally. Quite an impressive entrepreneurial journey is his claim to fame. He changed the face of India's hospitality industry with the 2013 debut of OYO. There have been estimates that put Ritesh Agarwal's wealth at $1.1 billion (Rs 7253 crore) as of the year 2020.

Deepinder Goyal, founder and CEO of Zomato

The man behind the click-and-order meal revolution, Deepinder Goyal, is here today. He is the brain behind Zomato. In 2018, he co-founded Foodiebay with Pankaj Chaddah; in 2011, it morphed into Zomato. More people were able to order and have their food delivered because the platform made it easy to upload menus.

Azhar Iqubal, co-founder and CEO, Inshorts

A fearless innovator whose ground-breaking work changed the face of Indian journalism. After leaving IIT Delhi, Azhar Iqubal began his business path. He is now the CEO and co-founder of the popular news app, Inshorts. He started Inshorts in 2013 alongside Anunay Arunav and Deepit Purkayastha, both of whom were his contemporaries at IIT. Reportedly valued at Rs 3,700 crore, the news app boasts 50 million active users and is renowned for providing succinct news summaries within 60 words.

Radhika Gupta, MD & CEO, Edelweiss Mutual Fund

An inspiration with a powerhouse of accomplishments in business and a mountain of honours. Joining us now on the panel is Shark Radhika Gupta, MD and CEO of Edelweiss MF, a formidable woman entrepreneur. She started her career with McKinsey & Company, where she worked as a business analyst. After that, from 2015 to 2017, she oversaw business operations at Edelweiss Multi-Strategy Funds. She worked her way up the corporate ladder and is now the managing director.

Varun Dua, founder and CEO, ACKO

Get to know the trailblazer who made insurance a breeze to purchase. The ACKO founder, Varun Dua comes from a varied family. Before co-founding GlitterBug Technologies, he worked as a marketing manager for Tata AIG Life Insurance from 2003 to 2006. He established Acko in 2016 with a wealth of knowledge from the insurance industry.

Ronnie Screwvala, Co-Founder and Chairperson, UpGrad

Notable businessman, producer, and actor Ronnie Screwvala is involved with the educational technology startup UpGrad in multiple capacities, including as chairman and co-founder. His entrepreneurial adventure has been rather fruitful; in 1990, he established UTV, a prominent film studio. He co-founded the online learning platform UpGrad in 2015. He is also the producer of numerous critically acclaimed films, including Swades, Jodhaa Akbar and Uri: The Surgical Strike.
