Vidya Balan is one of the finest actresses in Indian cinema. The actress has time and again proved the same with her powerpacked performances on the big screen. Today, her 2012 film, Kahaani, was released on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Kahaani showcases Vidya in a never-seen-before avatar. Nikkhil Advani's romantic drama Salaam-e-Ishq featured an ensemble star cast. The film was released theatrically on January 25, 2007. In this movie, Vidya was paired opposite John Abraham. The actress essayed the character of Tehzeeb, while John was seen as Ashutosh. This easy-breezy romantic can be viewed on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium. As per the streaming platform, Salaam-e-Ishq is a story about six couples who face problems in their lives when fate forces them to move away from their beloved partners.

The 2011 film featured Vidya Balan as Sabrina Lal (Jessica's sister), while Rani Mukerji was seen as Meera Gaity in the movie. The film's storyline revolves around a bartender who dies after being shot by a politician's son and it also sheds light on her sister's struggle to find justice for her death.
