'Meesha felt like my first film'

Working on Meesha was a unique experience for Kathir, who said it was comparable to filming his first movie. "In addition to my stage fright, I don't know Malayalam. Twenty days before the production started, I called the director, Emcy Joseph, to ask if he was still certain about casting me because I wasn't sure at first," he said. The actor continued by saying that he was told by the director that he had to play Midhun. I did work harder on Meesha than I generally do on my other flicks. After the shoot, I would spend hours sitting down to comprehend the tone and meaning of the dialogue, he continued, rather than mugging it up.

The young actor stressed that he was focused on giving it his all and that his confidence grew daily as he became more familiar with the tempo and delivery of the dialogue. "I am still not sure how I got into this field. Before coming into the film industry as I finished my studies in a hostel, I had hardly seen fifteen movies in my life. My only goal is to do my very best for the roles and films that are given to me', he stated.

'I'm Game is sure to surprise all'

Kathir is also playing a pivotal role in Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming big-budget project, I'm Game. "With its distinct style and perspective, it is unquestionably a pan-Indian film. Since its director, Nahas, has been reminding me not to give away too much about it, I am unable to disclose anything significant about it," he said. However, the actor went on to say that the film's intriguing parts will undoubtedly surprise and impress the audience.
