Why Uorfi voted out Sudhanshu Pandey

Talking about her decision to vote out Sudhanshu Pandey—one of the last remaining innocents—Uorfi explained how her alliance shifted after bonding with Nikita.

“What happened with Nikita was unexpected. Just a day earlier, I had a really good off-camera conversation with her. We had discussed at night that neither of us was a traitor. We even did some calculations, figured out how many traitors there could be, and agreed that Sudhanshu couldn’t be one of them. So, I had built a good bond with Nikita,” she said.

She added that Sudhanshu had already had doubts about her, which could have jeopardised her chances. “If I had gone to him, there was a chance he could’ve messed up my game. He might have revealed things and then turned everyone against me. I needed someone I could completely trust, someone I knew would stand by me. The plan was to first get Purav out and then Harsh.”

Living in an alternate reality

Describing the intensity of the experience inside the castle, Uorfi confessed it was one of the happiest times of her life.

“Shall I tell you the truth? I didn’t want to come back home. I even said it out loud—that I didn’t want to go back, just take my phone and leave me there in Suryagarh and let the game go on forever. I was happy; honestly, that world was better than this one,” she said.

“It was like an alternate reality for us. Not everyone gets to experience something like that. It’s like you’re no longer in this world—you’ve entered a completely different one. It was a whole different universe.”

On fights and keeping her focus on the game

Uorfi also addressed the fights and personal attacks that erupted in the palace. For her, the focus remained firmly on the game.

“No, no, once I had that one fight, after that I didn’t even focus on it. I was thinking, I just want to play the game, yaar. Fights happen; it’s normal. When 20 people are living together, some arguments are bound to happen,” she said.

“And I’m also a bit blunt, rude even—I say what’s on my mind. But I have a good heart. Later, I do feel bad, but because of my ego, I can’t even say sorry. It’s all part of the deal.”

Accidentally spoiling her victory

Shortly after the finale was filmed, Uorfi accidentally hinted at her victory through a leaked Instagram chat, much like Marvel actor Tom Holland is known for accidentally spoiling plot points.

“I’m the Tom Holland of Prime Video. I’m the Tom Holland of this season. I just said it—I’m very impulsive and I make mistakes. I messed up, yaar; what can I do now?”

Responding to trolls and online hate

Following her win, Uorfi posted a message on Instagram that addressed the years of trolling and even threats she’s received.

“Honestly, all this is just 20%. 30% were nice too, I won’t lie. But yeah, somewhere, it does hurt a little. In any reality show, when someone wins, there will always be people who don’t agree 100%. That’s just how life is—when you rise, not everyone is going to like it.”

Who Uorfi wants in The Traitors Season 2

With The Traitors Season 2 officially confirmed, Uorfi shared who she’d love to see in the next edition.

“Tanmay Bhatt would be very good. Samay Raina won’t do it, but it would be so much fun to watch him. It would be really nice. And I’d love to see a couple—just don’t make either of them a traitor, and let them keep doubting each other.”
