The makers of A Time Called You successfully keep audience confused and somewhat happy, but this can differ from person to person. Although Jun-Hee and Si-Heon do not end up together in the timeline they had created through time travel, their sudden encounter on a bus leaves their future open to interpretation. The ending scene suggests that there is a possibility of Jun-Hee and Si-Heon finding each other again in a new lifetime, fulfilling their long-lost promises as lovers, without having an idea about their past lives and the time loops.

Did Jun-Hee and Si-Heon make the right decision to save Min-Ju?

But it is more like strangers ’ encountering each other on a bus.

A spark, or a sudden kiss between Jun-Hee and Si-Heon could have given A Time Called You a happy and closed ending. But the makers left it to destiny. In the process, they gave viewers a blank canvas to paint with their own wishful resolutions.
