Adah Sharma was asked why did she not return to The Kerala Story 2. While trying to maintain her silence on the topic, Adah did reveal that it is mainly because the two are based on different subjects.
Adah initially stated that while she would enjoy speaking about a film she is part of, rather than talking about a movie she is not part of just to be in the news. “When I'm not a part of a film, I feel speaking about it just to be in the news isn't right,” the actress asserted during her conversation with IANS, while adhering that whether she was considered to be a part of the sequel or not should be something that remains confidential between an artist and the makers rather than being discussed publicly.
“The first part was about ISIS camps in Afghanistan and showed step by step how an innocent girl ends up becoming a terrorist. Part 2 is a completely different story,” Adah finally shared.
Adah Sharma’s last memorable project was in Sunflower season 2 (streaming on Zee5 via OTTplay Premium) which released in 2024. The actress plays the role of a wicked woman named Rosie Mehta in the series starring Sunil Grover’s Sonu Singh as the main lead.
