Starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the romantic film received amazing responses not only from fans and critics but also from celebrities like Alia Bhatt, John Abraham, Mahesh Babu, Karan Johar, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, and others. The craze for Saiyaara also welcomed speculations about a sequel. In a new interview, Mohit Suri reacted to the same.

In an interview with Faridoon Shahryar, Mohit Suri was asked about the possibility of a Saiyaara sequel. He said, “It is the producer’s call. I’ve had my fair share of sequels. I wish them all the best” adding, “But I think Adi believes if a film goes into becoming a classic, let us not ruin the magic by creating another sequel.”

While Mohit did not ignore the possibility, his words suggest that the makers, especially producer Aditya Chopra, are keen to preserve the film's legacy rather than risking its emotional impact being diluted through subsequent films.

According to the Times of India, Saiyaara, which was earlier scheduled to release on OTT in September, is now targeting a Diwali 2025 release after its blockbuster success in theatres. Meanwhile, YRF's casting director Shanoo Sharma indicated the film will be available for streaming starting September 12, 2025.
