Alia Bhatt says not Heart of Stone but Alpha is her first proper action film: 'Allowed me to see what my body is capable of'

Apart from Love & War, Alia Bhatt is also busy shooting for Alpha. The YRF spy action film also stars Sharvari in the lead role. In a new interview, Alia opened up about doing Alpha post motherhood.

Alia Bhatt is one of the most successful actresses in the film industry. The National-award winning actress has a handful of projects upcoming, such as Love & War and Alpha. Both films have been postponed. While Love & War is a love triangle drama, Alpha is a spy action film. In a new interview, Alia opened up about doing Alpha after having her daughter, Raha Kapoor and said that it was her first proper action film.

In a new interview with ETimes, Alia Bhatt has spoken about doing Yash Raj Films' Alpha after having her daughter, Raha Kapoor. She said that she does not consider her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone, to be an action film.

She added, “I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again – I don’t consider Heart of Stone an action film for me. It was an action world, but my character wasn’t action-oriented in that sense. With Alpha, the opportunity to actually do action is something I’m supremely excited about."

Reflecting on doing Alpha post motherhood, Alia said, "Doing action after having a baby was very interesting because it allowed her to see what my body is capable of." She also shared that it was a learning experience, and it gave her a lot of respect for her body.

Meanwhile, Alia also opened up about successes and failures. Unaffected by how unpredictable results can be, Bhatt said, "Success and failure are not in your hands. What is in your hands is learning, growing and finding a process that nurtures you as an artiste and as a person. Filmmaking is never about one individual. It’s an entire crew coming together to work towards one shared vision."
